The pumps had glass tanks at the top which were marked off in
gallons.
The attendant would pump the gas up in the glass tank using a long
lever,
open the nozzle, and the gas would run by gravity into the car's tank.

I got to fly a 727 simulator at the FAA's Monroney Center in OKC some years

Once you got it trimmed out it wasn't bad.

I'm not a fan of McCain but there seems to be a lot of rumors flying about
on this disaster and many seem like peoples view of what happened may have a
political slant. I wasn't there and can't really say one way or another. I

It has the Euro trailer hitch too. Great for small sailboats.

Well, when I was a little fella (about 4 to 10), that's what I watched my

B100 or B99 biodiesel dissolves lots of things. I am guessing it
would take off pitch too. TUrpentine is probably easier to find.

I have read that cleaning a table saw blade with oven cleaner does a
pretty good job at removing such stuff. Not sure I would leave it too
long on a chain though. But if you have run out of other options that
might be something to try, followed by a good rinse and oil.

One little problem with the explanation however. The deck crew runs the
starter, the throttle up is done by the pilot when engine spool up reaches
15% [when done properly].
To start a jet you must follow a sequence. Starter on, rotation starts, at
10% engine speed, ignition on. at 15% engine
