If it has a vacuum pump, I'm almost positive it's fuel injected (D- Jet), which is a VAST improvement over the Solex carb fitted on those models. No one, including Solex and MB, ever got that carb to work well. As noted, white smoke is coolant, and you can smell it. Typically it's most
