Yes-most used 123 body parts are pretty rusty up here in New England. I do
have a line on a CE that might not be too bad.

Good point- acutally the front fenders on his 240D are the same color as

Apparently there are no CAPA certified fenders for the 123 chassis, according to
CAPA's web site. Therefore a cheap fender would be of unknown quality.

classic center prices are prob'ly outa sight.
How about car-part.com and put in a TX or AZ zip code to find used
As Gerry mentioned, you may consider taking it to a turntable shop. If you
don't know of one, a good record store should be able to give you a
referral. The turntable shop can check time, etc. and may not charge very.

old-school hi-fi repair shops in Seattleland he can go to, considering the

We did have a superior shop here. J S, but they got run out of business when

601 in a 107 would be slower than a 616 in a 107. Makes sense.

Here's the difference:
I use the floppy ones that roll up. I checked and mine is currently $36. I
had a promo code for Amazon from a previous order that knocked it down to $29.
The one you are looking it is the one made with the rigid panels that folds up.
They are thicker and more expensive.

If your system has a phono input, then it's _really_ hard to

Even a 603 would be a slug in an R107. Very heavy, even with the 4.5L
V8 they weren't exactly road rockets. Nice fast cars, but a Corvette
outdrags them every time, even a Firebird or Camaro will beat them off
the line.
Quite a different story in actual driving, but a 601 in a 3500 lb
