Just minor evidence that we live in a police state.
The major evidence is much more frightening.

Interesting. How old was he when he passed on?
My father was only 63, which is way too young.
I am 61 now and not in any hurry to follow him.
My dad was a month shy of 58. I have already passed that by 2 years and am
ready to go the way of man... he says not really knowing what
Yup
Worn brushes will do that.
replace regulator. unplug the ground cable and take out 2 screws.
Put new regulator/brushes in. I have used a paper band to hold in
the new brushes while you stick the set in and start the screws.
than break the paper band and pull it out. Tighten screws.
15 mi should certainly have been enough; scooter is not kept in that car,
it's in the 87 300D and it charges only in flight (key ON).
BTW, 'haven't noticed any BAT light on - looked for it specifically this
morning.

BTW, on trip out, I drove 75 to 77 mph; didn't get above 65 mph on way back.
Wonder if brushes could have floated (not charging) at the higher speed,
and then contacted and charged OK at slower speed.
No BAT light at any time.
