Daughter has an '06 GL320cdi bought new. Her cost of repairs at the
dealer since then is huge. She loves it, and can afford the expense,
but I wouldn't have it. I think Kaleb bought one, had a lot of expense,
and then sold it. The only part that hasn't needed repair is the basic

The copter is GPS stabilized to stay where you want it. The Phantom is pretty
amazing. The camera mount is gyro stabilized too.

My sister had a 2011 ML with diesel engine, on a three year lease. During
the lease, it had one of the computers fail while sister was driving in six
lanes of freeway traffic. Car totally shutdown, no warning. A very
dangerous event, and thank God there weren't any collisions or injuries.

You can buy some of these that are quite a bit cheaper for just general
flying around. That one is well-equipped and has a lot of good features.
There are lots of kits and plans too to build your own.

I recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy II with Jelly Bean OS. I am amazed
at the accuracy of the voice-to-text capability of Android. I never type or
swipe anything for text messaging, and only occasionally must type
corrections when the OS misses something I've dictated.

The prices have already dropped. The Phantom is the top of the line for
consumer grade camera platforms. 5 years ago you were looking at $30,000 for
something half as good. Its a large copter, not a child's toy.
