I made a heroic effort to replace vacuum lines running to the rear hatch servo - there was a huge slit in the locking line right at the hatch grommet (unable to see it but it had to be YUUGE). After I pulled the old lines out and threaded in the new ones the rear tailgate lock works perfectly

Throttle body: $75 TO $250 on car-part.com for a 94 w/o traction control. You have to know the engine number. There is a break about 10,000. Chances are that you will get one that has been replaced and has good insulation. You can look at it before you put it on. Time vs money. For

Did you pull the throttle body and make sure the insulation is ok there? the wiring harness has 99% probability of having failed and been replaced. The throttle body and MAF are likely culprits. Since the diagnostic points to the throttle body, I'd pull enough stuff to inspect it. On the

There is only one way to check the insulation on the throttle body harness, and that’s to split the jacket and check the individual conductors. The outer jacket was made with rubber, not the same material the wire insulation was made with. Therefore, it will look just fine from the outside.
