The Kienzle (sp?) clock is electric, not electronic. Nothing uses electrons in it but a solenoid and a switch. The rest is all mechanical, and, unlike the later electronic clocks in the same form factor, they're easy to open. -- Jim ___

[MBZ] HF Bummer

Noticed the high side service valve that has the quick release for the port on my manifold gauge set was leaking while I was working on the 350SDL today. Nothing significant, but there was some wetness around the knob on the valve, and it was definitely AC oil. Emailed HF about a replacement.

The self winding clocks are self adjusting. Keep setting it back to the right time, and it should regulate itself after a few resets. They are very elegant and wonderful clocks in parts of the world that did not succumb to the lunacy of "Daylight Savings Time" I often just leave them on one
