The good news is the the 240D IP is ok. The buggered bolt goes only into the shaft that holds the injection timer and turns the IP. I have the IP, timer, and front bushing out of the donor engine, and the IP and vac pump off the patient. I worked for several hours today trying to get the IP

I just bought one of these, but with leather... similar colors. Current owner since 1975 and is a very original well maintained car. Needs some stuff, but shouldn't be too difficult to make into an exceptional example. I prefer the 6 cylinder cars, but these are quite popular for some reason.
