Yeah, the case on mine is pretty beat up. I had take the cover off a couple of
years ago and make some adjustments so the front and back covers didn’t push in.
Still keeps charging, though. Definitely got our money’s worth out of this one.

I just keep fixing the cords on the old Schauer chargers. They keep
working. The 2A got run over by a tractor. I straightened the case
and it has run another 20-30 years since.They are the 240D of
chargers, so long as they are "dumb" chargers.
