excessive smoke. I inspected the entire engine and there was no signs of oil
leaking anywhere including the oil filter housing under the car.

I know nothing about current rice burner engines, but I'd guess you are
good to go. If excess oil had caused a problem, I would guess it would
be evident in the form of blown out seals or some similar escape route
for the oil.
