I had a water pump promptly die in a 123 car, when I ran it for a few days with
water. Don't know if there pump died from water (lack of lubrication?) or if
it was simply time for the pump to die.

On a strange car, I usually put in water if weather permits. Then run
it enough to be comfortable, or until the weather dictates it is time
for antifreeze.

We're talking about the 1/2 ton Chevy so at least it'll only be 1 car on the

I assume the belt is 1% more efficient than a chain.
It's OK.
When you experience total loss of oil pressure you will receive a notice on the

Why didn’t they just use a chain? Oh yeah, a belt is cheaper, GM penny

The problem is that for hunting how many shots are you going to fire in a
year? The steel 3" I've been buying are $25/box, by the time I buy the bag of
shot and powder etc it doesn't make sense for the 1 or 2 boxes I'll shoot a
year. I'd also have to shoot a bunch to get the 3" hulls.

My Load-All has been on a shelf in my parents' basement since about 1990.
If I still hunted, I'm sure I could buy copper plated shot and make the 2 3/4"

But 1 1/8oz standard velocity chilled lead? No way I can build

I remember the halcyon days when reloading could be a budget proposition. Today
