do the newer style front fenders and hood, but everything else is in pret
Crank position sensor is bad or the connection behind the head is corroded.
Runs rough because it's on the mechanical idle, not the computer controlled
idle, and the tach is driven off that signal.

I have experienced recently our '93 300D running roughly after I start
it. When this happens, the tachometer is not working. A varying amount
of time later, the engine starts running smoothly, always accompanied
