Hyde Park doesn't look too bad.

That does look pretty nice. Hood and roof need a good buffing. I like the color
and don't see any obvious rust.

How does a very large mature tree die from one year to the next? We have one by
the driveway and road that was fine last year. As of now, it still does not
have any leaves so I assume it’s dead. How the heck does that happen?

It is about the most unexciting color combination possible, for myself.
However, if the bones are solid, it might be worth a careful and complete
repaint that would do justice to the model, major lipstick and cleanup to
the interior, as well... but only if it has good bones that would support

The one I got was $900, fewer miles, good condition. I gotta order the new CP,

My recollection of aircraft wiring is that all our connectors were crimped to
the wires unless enclosed in a case where the wires can't move. All wires were
stranded and solder wicked into the stranded wire to create hard spots where
fatigue occurred. Those crimped connector pins/sockets were

INA seems to be a good source, they had the right size for the alternator
on my '87 wagon with OM603. Not sure if they have a catalog to show all
the alternators that they fit.
If for your MB, I'm sure they've got one. If another application and the
alternator is a Bosch, I'll bet they have

The interior is kind of rough, honestly. Needs at least one new seat cover,
everything needs a good cleaning, the dash is cracked, dash wood is failing,
aftermarket radio. Wondering if the AC works since the "off" switch is selected
and temp control is set to max heat -- in late July?
Painted in Dealbreaker Brown (exempt Dimitri).
Somebody really did a number on the driver's seat. Anger issues?

Good thing I'm not local, there's a lot of stuff there I'd like
to own. Quite a bit of it in lots much larger than I'd want,
so maximum bulk expansion factor. But, looks like local
pickup only, even though the auction is online only.

My avionics guy refuses to use crimp only. His argument is, a crimp
connection is only a friction connection, thus subject to failure. He does
both crimp then solder, then shrink tube to seal the connection joint.
He isn't cheap, but since I started using him, electrical related issues
