The W116 currently has General Altimax tires. Cannot recommend.

as do other companies. I just looked for some on Amazon for the 300CD, there
were a bunch of different vendors and the prices were pretty good, free
shipping on many. Like $70-75 each for Kumhos. Now I get emails

sitting here with a bad 722.9 transmission, those things are infinitely
more complicated than a 163 but I bet it could be started bypassing the
starter relay if it is anything like I did with the 163 05ML500.
