They’re not uncommon in FL, and the times I’ve seen them being installed the pieces are either extruded onsite or bought in bulk lengths and cut on-site. I’m sure the cost is also affected by the complexity of the roof as well. My AZ house would be pretty straightforward, as it’s a 1970s
