I used Safelite Auto Glass to replace the windshield on my '87 300 SDL. It had
a tremendous amount of pitting, several chips and stars, and the PO had let the
wiper blades get so bad that they scratched an arc on both sides. At $196.50,
it wasn't worth claiming against my insurance.
My '87 300SDL has the ortho seats as a factory option. They still hold vacuum
and make a long trip enjoyable. Kaleb appears to have picked up a nice car.

One of my mechanics has a 2002 Duramax 4x4, Allison tranny. He routinely gets
around 16 - 17 on a 30 mile round trip to work. Nice truck, I really like the
fact that the motor is very quiet. That truck has got some cojones, too!

timing chain pictorial to change my chain with no difficulties. Is it worth

My 82 300D had sheepskin covers that I needed to get off. I had to remove the
seatback cover, then WD40 the button. After that I was able to get the
headrest off. I thought I was going to break the seat. You'll need the
seatback cover off if you want to remove the armrest as well.
