That stuff is still available from MB. I have two packets of it for my
240D that I need to get around to replacing. I think it's a pretty easy
job. It's got an adhesive backing and just presses into place after you
remove the B pillar cover. Not too expensive. I can get you the part
numbers
As I said before, go to a bicycle shop and ask for Fork Oil. I think
that's what you want.
