Something unusual about that 300TD. It has manual windows, no SLS resivor, no tach, 240D type climate control, cloth seats. This completely different from my 85 300TD. Would this be a euro model? I did think euro had turbos. Wish mine had that climate control like on my 240D. Mike G On

Umm I thought that most VOM/DVM's had a capacitor in series with the input... This ensures that only the ac component is measured. True, to a point. Don`t expect much from a Harbor Freight type of meter. Depends on the quality (price) of the multimeter (DVM/VOM). More expensive meters do a

Something new, at least for me, when I turn the key to the off position and remove the key, the battery light comes on and stays on until battery is dead. If any of you guys or dolls have any thoughts as to what might be causing this situation, your thoughts would be most appreciated.

Sounds like maybe a crankcase ventillation system. Some had oil filler caps with hoses that connected to the carbs air filter housing. The other end of the system went to a PCV . This would be a negative pressure type system back in the 60`s or late 50`s on American iron.. Hot Rod shops
