There has been a lot of discussion in the past about the poor quality of
rebuilt rear half axles for the W123 series. I am now facing the task of
replacing both rear halves on my 85 300TD Wagon. Until I am able to locate
a good used set, there a stop gap measure? Is there a silicone or rubber

wagon. Does anyone have the Haynes Manual for the W123 that would be

1985 300TD-T -
Recently changed the fuel filters and adjusted the throttle linkage. Now
the car struggles to start following glow unless I give it a little
accelerator pedal when cranking the ignition. Ideas?
