to the rear of the tranny that houses an electronic planetary gear set for
super low, and a chain drive to the drive shaft for the front
differential.
The difference besides weight is the extra differential and
Pilkington (not plinkington) has been MB OE for some years now. My '08 has
all Pilkington glass and a replacement windshield last year ($880) was also
Pilkington.
