I think the manual shows the engine being supported by a beam with legs resting on the frame while the subframe is dropped. I was able to R&R the oil pan on the SDL by unbolting the engine mounts, lifting the engine to the max with the cherrypicker (it would only fall as far as the mounts). Don't k
