i know the '85 W123 had a lot of things about it that made it
'special' compared to other years, but am looking at a '85 W126 now.
did the W126 have the same 'specialness' about it that the W123
did? (FI pump, Trans, Final Drive, etc,...?)

both Fed and Calif '85 W123s had things that made them different
than all other years (some of which i listed already), not just the
Particulate Trap Oxidizer that so many people seem to focus on.
