Chances of an 07 being bad are lower than earlier, I think the "fix" was done early in that MY run.  My daughter's 07E350 wagon is outside the bad range. If you're interested you should take a look at it, start jawboning the guy over the rebuilt aspect, engine issues, blahblah and see what

Not typically. A branded title is almost always due to an insurance claim of some sort. I guess if you had a claim where the engine had to be rebuilt (bottomed out oil pan, for instance) and the insurance company wrote the car off for it, that could be a reason. -D > On Dec 6, 2022, at 2:27
