One was worn down to the metal backing, all of them were severly cracked.
I'm guessing that the car was driven with them one at some time in it's
past. There are adjustments both at the shoes, like any other drum brake
system, and at the cable Y junction - I left the shoe adjusters collapsed
all th

The part has "Germany" molded into the rubber. WHo knows what's going
Go to the car wash first, and get the under-car rinse, or go to the
quarter place and spray it all nice and clean. Solves that problem
quite nicely, and gives you a clean car to work on too. You can also
spot the new leaks more easily.
