Actually, it is not a bad job. Buy just the motor. It comes out as a unit under the dash in the passenger footwell. Remove the cover, remove the screws to drop out the fan. I held the fan cage while someone else whacked the shaft with a hammer and pin punch. the motor dropped right out.
