Granted, I don't have much experience with newer Bosch digital automotive
equipment, but I've been wrenching on European rigs for over 25 years now,
and have been generally quite impressed with Bosch electrical
equipment--enough so, that I bought a dishwasher and frontloading washing

Would you please explain this vague statement? Engineering to me means among
other things designed in reliability over the long term. Which this model sure
as hell does not have.
