Hi, All. Reply to Don Roberto. When I replaced the shutoff vacuum pukky, I first got a replacement from Rusty (All Hail Rusty!), removed the intake manifold, (new gasket same source) tried not to break anything removing the electrical connector. The locking ring for the conn. came off after rotating it around 'til it slid up off the base. replaced the vacuum shut off with a new (plastic i.e. cheap) replacement and using Mightyvac confirmed correct operation. Reassembled everything as per the photo's I took beforehand, and, taking a DEEP breath restarted the beast and it then shut off as designed. (phew!) More than you wanted to know I'll bet!
