Well today I opened the Servo up and though it seemed to work fine using the
driveway mechanic write up. I couldn't get it to park when the servo was moved
to Heat. Looking at the diagram I realized that the connection for the park
circuit makes ground through the Amplifier.
Thus taking the to

This is the way to go. Clean system, works nicely and efficiently. The

Can only find used or rebuilt units. Both still have the same inherent
problems, and will eventually fail.
Does Rusty still sell them rebuilt and for how much.
I think so, and it is *expen

to need more than grease to keep it from getting stuck.

They do make aftermarket coolant filters.

I coughed up the $300+ for a new one shortly after I got the '78 450SLC,
then changed the coolant every year - it was still working when I traded the
car off. That was some five years of service. I think that a clean coolant
system is the secret for max life from the "evil chrysler system from hell

Scott thank you very much for the information on the Servo. I spent the
afternoon setting it up and it will drive to all positions and then park via
pin 3.
I was able to get the compressor clutch to engage by shorting the switch at the
drier? I think that the A/C Amp is what is the trouble. I

Yes Doug there is, and his name is George Murphy. He knows more about these
servos probably than anyone else anywhere. I'll probably get the usual rash
of grumblers that we always get when one mentions him but facts are facts.
He is the servo expert bar none. He can certainly answer your question b

I have been working on my climate control, changed the control panel and then
