The monovalve has nothing to do with the AC, perhaps you're thinking of the

Because it’s CRAP. I went through 3 of these things from Rusty. Finally
ordered real MB part (yes, it’s expensive) and it has worked flawlessly now for
3 years. Same with the aux pump. DO NOT order chinese versions. You WILL

At low speeds there is some tepid heat but once we start cruising on
the
highway, the faster the speed the the colder it gets. Ordinarily I

I bought one from Gary when he first started his parts business. It's still
working well for however long that's been; 2, 3 years or more? IIRC the price
was $30-$35.
BTW, has anyone heard from Gary or ordered anything recently? I sent him an
email and received no reply.

My 1983 300TD has very little heat, although the engine warms up to normal
levels even on cold days so itg's unlikely I have a thermostat problem.

MTC brand, made in China?
Avoid problems, order from MB Classic Center, restore heat, you will need it
during the coming ice age.
If you have faith in global warming, get the MTC with five year warranty, which
should be long enough for the earth to warm up...
