Greetings and Salutations.FWIW, my 81 VW dasher diesel hydro-locked one day when I had taken my kids back to their mother. Went out to go back home, engine would not turn. Took out a glow plug and cleared the cylinder and drove slowly home. New Head gasket and klatta klatta klatta.
