That's how every MB I've owned, from the '70 220D to the '92 300D have
worked. I think I see a pattern here ---

rest _shouldn't_. There are some plenum design varieties.

up my needing to re-solder the PPU. In fact, I noticed it briefly
tonight, along with cold coming from the center vents and warm from
the side vents.
