I completely agree, the W123 is very primitive compared to the W126. However, It’s a nice contrast to the W126 and you also feel more like you’re participating in the driving task in a w123 as opposed to sitting on the couch and watching it go by as one does in a W126. And it’s SO damned

Just for grins I put the 300SEL for sale on CL. If I can get a taker in the next week or two I’m doing it. I’ve got some work related stuff that’s going to take a lot of my time in April, so if it’s still around once I get past that I’ll be taking on the front end rebuild.
