car that gets at least TRIPLE the fuel economy of most cars on the road here

diesel) they thought it should stay at low rpm, but the powerband was

Yes, I was thinking of the 70hp fuel injected gas Rabbit when I said mid teens
0-60. Diesel had to be somewhere in the 20s.

Imperial gallon? My Wabbit would do 63-63 MPG on Imperial
gallons 85 does not seem outrageous after 30 years and all kinds of
electronics and blue juice. (as long as we are talking Imperial gallons!)
