You can buy the reseal kits on eBay for about $22.00 for the Nippondenso. I’ve done a couple of them so far and they’re easy-peasy. It takes about 30 minutes to disassemble, replace the seal and O rings and reassemble. I did the one in my 350SDL, which was the original MB compressor, about a

You will be able to tell if it has been converted as the fitting are screw on for R12. Both cars were manufactured with R12, but if they have been serviced since about 1995 they have been switched to R134a or one of the hydrocarbon refrigerants. But you really want to do the proper testing
