Which mercedes series did they introduce afterglow to assist smooth idling
when cold? For how long does it afterglow for ?

Sorry, I don't know. I do know that Rusty sells Bosch aftermarket
afterglow relays; I installed one in our 240D/3.0. There was also talk
early 90's, the 3.5 603 has it as does the 2.5 turbo 602

300TDt would be
Bosch 0 281 003 096 and perhaps the MB part number is 025 545 5432
anyone know if that is correct?
With winter coming on, I thought I would move to the afterglow
controller and I plan to visit
