Drove our '78 240D to work today. SWMBO has been driving it so I figured it'd need the carbon blown out. I was right its badly carboned up, not quite to the point it was when I bought it just over a year ago but pretty bad.
Unfortunately today was not a great Italian tune up day but we did nudge 80mph for a little while. With luck we may be headed for Maine this weekend, a 300 mile round trip blast should help with things.
