Ok, so here is the situation. I have a 1982 300SD with a bad B2 piston. I
know its bad, I had the classic symptoms, took it apart, and the piston
came out in pieces, several of them actually. I have a new piston ready to
go in, I have the new plastic ring to replace the old metal one, new
Call Rusty. I did the B2 on my '83 300D and ordered a kit which had
all the parts, but I'd bet he could tell you the part number of that
seal and probably send it to you as well assuming it is available
separately from the kit.
