Through search term trickery (creeping forwards through the posting so
that it shows proximate words) I was able to coax Google into showing me
the other cached pieces of the ad, which did not include a phone number

anyone but it's a nice option as well as I get text messages at my regular
phone, where the number is forwarded to, and a voice mailbox I can check on
There's sort of an unwritten rule that listings with a local phone number are
less likely to be scams.
I was certain I'd read this in the CL how to avoid scams at one point, along
with the only deal with local people you can meet face-to-face but it's not
there now.

I'm looking for a car for a colleague and saw a 1979 or 80 SD for sale nearby
on CL. It had been posted my times. The posting has since expired, so I can't
call the seller. There does not appear to be any way to retrieve a cached copy
of this, which is odd because I've been able to do
