I was able to get the delivery valve seals and springs on our
'82 240D/3.0 replaced this afternoon. The only problem I had was
noticing after installing the #1 and #2 injection lines that I
had not installed the keepers that keep the delivery valve holders
from turning. Oops. I had to use a small
A new center carrier bearing and mount should fix the vibration.
Transmission mount usually causes vibration under load as that lifts
the output shaft, but it's also possible for the mount to be bad.
Glad the delivery valve repair went well -- I need to order new seals
and do mine, I have
I think center suppirt bearing is good guess. Both of my 240D's had to
have them replaced.must be the excessive torque from the OM 616 engine.
