Years ago RPM Delo, which morphed into Chevron Delo, was the favorite of long
haul truckers.
The last time I was over there a few months ago, the large Wildwood truckstop
had a big stock of Shell Rotella and only a couple cases of Delo, so the long
haul truckers have apparently switched.

Delo is good oil. One of the top for the big trucks. Around here
typically $13/gallon or so.

Traditionally, Chevron Delo400 has been sort of semi-synthetic and maybe
slightly better than Delvac1300 and RotellaT.
If 15W is suitable for a 606, go for it.

I have very much relaxed my attitude about oil over the years, if its the
correct weight and you intend to change every 3,000 miles just about anything
will do.
Angie's VW with the PD engine requires special oil but other than that...
As an update the tick I was complaining about in the 2010

at Costco about once a week.
