That's a 722.4, right? It does have a B2 piston, albeit a much-upgraded
one and failures are rare, but possible. More likely it just needs a

There may be differences in the fuel injection, round about that time MB
went from CIS/E to electronic injection.
Other than that I am pretty sure it is just a bit of a facelift to
squeeze some more life out of an old chassis. Also some things that
where optional in the series 2 became standard

You'd have to come get the wagon on a trailer... I still haven't put it
back together.

Well, the tranny will go in reverse, but not forward. I've never heard
of a B2 problem on the W124s, but could I be so lucky?
Is a Rusty reman $1800? Seemed that was the magic number for just about
all the transmissions he sold.
Thanks!

I can be up there this weekend with 2k for your E420. Might even throw

Ps, I paid WAY LOW so the price on this one is probably good

They are the same except the E420 has the updated front end, and some
updated interior stuff. I paid 2k for my 94 E420 with 114k, everything
works, no problems, drives like a new car.

My parents live in Biloxi (which is next to Gulfport in fact all of the towns
blend into each other). They are 6 miles from
Yeah but then it would have floated further inland and wouldn't be for
sale in Gulfport.

If the E420 in question is also a W124, then I do believe it should have the
same suspension bits, though maybe they opted for Sportline stuff in the
late-late models--dunno. Price seems a tad high for a car, sans tranny.
For whatever reason, the 400's don't seem to hold their value well.
On Wed,
if it is going to be a money pit, it's not quite a decent deal
so many clapped out 400Es out there and i never have figured out why

Is that a decent deal? I'm thinking 2k instead of 2800.
