Dollar store LAs Finest degreaser spray. The yellow stuff will eat the grease
away. Not like oven cleaner, but let it soak in, agitate with a brush and it
does rinse away. No nasty smell or burning nostrils and eyes. Except if you
get it blown back into your eye.

You need to rent a hot pressure washer (they have a kerosene heater and get a
lot hotter than a car wash) and restaurant grill cleaner to deal with that old
grease.

Coupla weeks ago I took all the burner grates and pans and grill slats off my
cooktop and sprayed them with some green degreaser stuff, let that sit awhile
then hit them with the pressure washer. Did a great job getting them all clean
from grease and spills and such.
