Actually, other than time, restoring a steering wheel isn’t that difficult.
POR makes some really good epoxy for the job, as do others. It’s something I’m
sure I’ll have to do when I find a suitable car, as they all suffer from it to
some extent,
They restored a horribly cracked (look at the spokes) white steering wheel by
putting a $5 wheel cover over it?

If those two gents did the "restoration" in that garage, I'm not very
inspired. See the extra gauge mounted on a plate attached to the center of
the dashboard? What's that for, turbo boost for the SBC under the hood?
