Coupla months ago a father/son went to buy a car with cash, 'sellers' pulled a
gun and tried to rob them, son pulled his gun and started shooting. Can probably
find it in a Battle Creek news search.

Coupla years ago here in the area a young kid, 19 or 20, was selling his
pickup, met the guy, which turned out to be 2 guys, they wanted to go
for a ride in it to check it out, OK, he went with them. The 2 buyers
killed him and took the truck. They were caught the next day or two,

I've had a couple of sales on Craigslist where the buyer "forgets" or "couldn't
get" change, which of course would result in a lower selling price. If I don't

Yeah, I'm becoming less and less enamored of CL as a selling venue because of
the creepy and questionable people that sometimes frequent it (present company

think I was some sort of a weirdo. Minimal conversation, burner

More places should do that!

Had a computer for sale on CL. Got a response that seemed sort of scammy,
pushy, saw mine when they were going to buy another, etc., etc. Just didn’t
have a good feeling about it.
Our county sheriff has an area at each of their regional sites where you can
meet up for stuff like this.
