Thanks for all your responses to my growling-clutch posting.
My MB fixer is doing the costings now. But as you predicted, he said it
would be foolish not to replace the pressure plate etc while the tranny is
out. Especially as the wagon has done 200K miles. I guess we're lucky to
have gone this
