Oddly, not at all. No blue smoke on heavy deceleration, no startup smoke. Very odd. Valves do need adjusting though, that's for sure, and there are other running issues. Part of what I was hoping to solve with the carb replacement was poor running/stalling after cold start. Also there's a fair

I'd say vent it straight to a collection jar, or plumb it to the manifold with a proper PCV valve to cut the flow down at idle. There are many controlled vacuum leaks that bypass the carb, like the brake booster and door locks. One more wouldn't hurt, as long as it's a controlled leak like a
