I'm afraid I'm no help to your question (other than is that wiper still
working?). But I have to ask... Do those headlight wipers (or washers for
that matter) actually make any noticeable difference at all?

You may just need to remove and reseat the wiper, as it may have worked
iteslf loose from the linage spindle.
