modify tool-make another tool-twist-pray and F**kkit, I gave up.
Obviosly there is more, or less, than meets the eye to this lock
removal trick (?).

This is one of those jobs where you need experience and someone to show
you how to do it.
Took me ages to figure out the 123 lock but I had a lock out of a wreck
to practise on.

With notchy about to fail ign. lock.
Fred, coupla months ago, I removed ig. lock in my 87 300D (124) by inserting
U-shaped unlock tool in the 2 holes withe key in posit #1 - that's not the
OFF posit. - that's #1 clockwise from OFF; jiggled key while pulling on it
and lock cylinder with its protective steel cover came right out.
