I came up with an alternate method. Using a stubby #2 Phillips screwdriver,
remove the left front speaker. This allows you a spot to be able to push on
the back of the cluster and push it out of the dash.

That's a 1/8 inch (one EIGHTH of an inch) to 3/16 inch hook.
