Not likely.
Most diesel fuel has 5% biodiesel added to it for lubricity. Modern diesel
engines with DPF and Regen cycles don't tolerate biodiesel well.

Starting to see posts on Fakebook, and ads for cars for sale, talking about
running used cooking oil as fuel. Here we go again. What cars were not
destroyed by the first round of cooking oil people, then the hood stack people,
will surely be destroyed by the second round of cooking oil people.
